The elite throwers club Of Idaho

As a high school thrower I never had a coach. Or coaches with any consistency. My head coach would often take me to camps and introduce me to coaches in the area to get me as much help as he could. More times then not I was on my own, just me and my God given talent. I knew I loved throwing from the first time that I picked up a discus, but I had so much frustration around not having coaches who could teach me the things I needed to know to prepare me for what was to come. I never want an athlete who loves throwing to experience what I did. I want to pass along the knowledge I have gained as a Division I athlete and 20+ years of coaching experience.

God knew! Not only did I go on to compete in 3 state championships, but I went on to win State of California JC in shot and discus. I then earned a scholarship as a Division I athlete at Fresno State. I was under the tutelage of Tom Pagani, US Olympic assistant coach. I placed 3rd   in the WAC in shot put and had a 6th place finish in the WAC in the discus. I also had a NCAA "B" Standard qualification in the discus. After retiring to start a family, I immediately went into coaching. Knowing the importance of giving back to my community. I continue to compete in and coach the sport that I love.

There are not enough throwers coaches (PERIOD). There is a need and myself and my staff is here to fulfill the needs of the community. Throwing changed the course of my life. I would have never went to college and experienced athletics at the highest collegiate level. I have coached athletes who have continued their athletic careers in college and I love seeing youth and adults achieve goals they never imagined.
